I am first and foremost a designer, to anything which may need form now or in the future, from a simple chair to an entire city.
I am also passionate about all things design — typography, graphic, illustrative, industrial, local art, computational design. Anything which could be designed under the sun. I like the ideation, the making, the people, the culture, the stories which goes into making these objects.
My undergraduate studies have significantly enhanced my spatial and critical thinking skills. Courses such as History of Architecture, Theory of Structures, Building Technology, Building Services, Professional Practice, Landscape Architecture, and Architectural Design have nurtured my problem-solving abilities and provided a robust foundation in understanding the essence and potential of architecture.
As a Bartlett School of Architecture graduate, I bring to the table a robust foundation in architecture, accompanied by an ardor for Urban Design, Generative Architecture, and Computational Design. My proficiency in Python enables me to master the art of Data Manipulation and Visualisation, which I employ to its utmost potential.
What interests me boils down to two separate interests of mine: Computational Design and Urban Design. I have always been interested in Urban Design ever since I was introduced to them as Elective Modules in University. Computational Design was something I took up as a hobby; to learn something new, but immediately appreciated the possibilities it offers in a fast-changing world.
Participating in studios has enriched my creativity and innovation, with a focus on complex topics and modeling. These experiences have cultivated a multi-dimensional approach to design challenges, enabling me to find optimal solutions. Constructive feedback from academic and professional experts in the field has fueled my passion for learning, gathering new ideas, and seeking information.
I am persistent in making my point. I like working in a collaborative environment which will challenge my ideas. My biggest strength would be: To learn and understand how things work, quite quickly. And my inquisitiveness to learn something about everything.
